Came to Michigan from Ontario, Canada in 1911 and was naturalized the same year. On both the 1920 and 1930 US census', Roscoe is listed as a Shipper working for a wholesale dry goods company (although he is 78 years old in 1930!). Roscoe and his family appear on the 1901 Canadian census living in Woodstock, Oxford County, Ontario. This census asks for a family origin, which Roscoe listed as Scotch.
