General Notes: According to Indiana historical records, George KLEMM was the "first permanent settler of Honey Creek, coming from Ohio in 1814 and settling among the Indians." George married Mary CURRY, daughter of William CURRY and Elizabeth SHOEMAKER, on 14 Jan 1808 in Butler County, Ohio.1 (Mary CURRY was born about 1797 in Butler County, Ohio, died on 12 Oct 1867 in Vigo County, Indiana and was buried in Oct 1867 in poss. Honey Creek, Vigo County, Indiana.) |
