General Notes: Served on General George Washington's staff during Revolutionary War. Nathan married Lois CRARY, daughter of Robert CRARY Esq. and Sarah TRACY, in Jun 1770 in New London County, Connecticut. (Lois CRARY was born on 10 Apr 1750 in Voluntown, New London County, Connecticut, died on 1 Nov 1836 in Preston, New London County, Connecticut and was buried in Nov 1836 in Preston City Cemetery, Preston, New London County, Connecticut 3.) |

Dewey, Louis Marinus Esq., Peter Crary of Groton, Conn. and Some of His Descendants, Vol. 1, p. 495. Surety: 4. 5. Robert³ Crary (Robert², Peter¹) died Jan. 30, 1790, aged 73, at Preston, Conn. He was a farmer, and lived in Voluntown as late as 1752, where his first five children were born. He married, June 3, 1742, Sarah, born Sept. 23, 1720, at Preston, died there Mar. 5, 1805, daughter of Dea. Jedidiah Tracy.

v. Elisha, b. Mar. 7, 1752; d. unmarried, at Preston, Sep. 8, 1773.
vi. Robert, b. June 19, 1755; d. Mar. 14, 1757.
vii. Sarah, b. Feb. 19, 1758; d. unmarried, Nov. 6, 1775, at Preston.
viii. Robert, b. Sept. 3, 1760.
