Sarah is listed as "keeping house," and indicates that both her parents were born in Indiana. Living next door is J.S. Snodgrass (age 39, b. IN), wife Elizabeth (age 32, b. Missouri), and their children, who is probably a relative (possibly the father of) Sarah. Also living in East River at this time is Charles' brother, Spencer.
