Son-in-law, William Paulin, and daughter Patience, 1/2 of tract of land purchased of one Bolebee on Autuxet, joining end of Leancet Sockwell's land, and along south side of land that one Sturgeon dwells on, i. e., 200 acres of land and marsh to an Oyster Creek called "Sow and Piggs." Son, Stephen, remainder of said land lying upon N. W. side of Enoch and Thomas Shepherd's, joining Bedan's land; also piece of a marsh at the end where Sturgeon lives; also 200 acres of upland and marsh running down to the Bay, together with all my plantation and tract I now live on, and 1/2 of the tract purchased of Johnson (the other half being possessed by John Shepherd); also 1/2 of land and marsh on the south side of Cohansey Creek below Ayres, commonly called Smith's Islands. Son, Dickenson, 1/2 of land and marsh on Peter's Point; the other half heretofore given to Jonadab Shepherd, as by his deed doth appear; also land joining on the N. W. side of John Ogden, formerly belonging to Benoni Dare, and 200 acres of land and marsh joining on Jonadab's south side. The 1/2 of the personal estate to my son Dickinson and daughter Patience; the other 1/2 to my three sons, John, Stephen and Jonadab, together with my daughters, Ann and Eve. Executors--wife, Eve, and son Stephen. Witnesses--Joseph Reeve, Moses Shepherd, John Bee. Proved 28 Nov., 1749 (in Cumberland County). Lib. 6, p. 291. 1749, Nov. 21. Inventory (£142.14.10) includes books (£2.0.3), 20 head of cattle, etc. Appraisers--Abraham Smith, Mark Reeve.
