5 Ingersoll Tribune (Ingersoll, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada). Surety: 4. DEATH NOTICE: WILLIAM F. SAGE The death of William F. Sage occurred suddenly last Friday, at the residence of William Uncer, North Town Line. He was at work the day before he died, passing suddenly during the night. Mr. Sage, in his 78th year, was born in East Oxford [township], son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willard Sage. He farmed in East Oxford up to 20 years ago when he came to Ingersoll. During the greater part of the time he had been employed by the Morrow Screw and Nut Company. The late Mr. Sage was widely known in East Oxford and also here and in the district and was highly esteemed. He was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Oxford Centre. His wife predeceased him 30 years ago. Surviving are five daughters; Mrs. Leslie Thompson, Woodstock; Mrs. Carl Bertrand and Mrs. Dayton Curry, Norwich; Mrs. Melvin Leach, Galt; Mrs. Fred Bixenman, Tyvan, Saskatchewan; one son, Willard, Toronto; 18 grandchildren, one great-grandson. The late Mr. Sage rested at the Keeler and Guthrie Funeral Home, where the funeral service was held Tuesday, Rev. George W. Murdoch officiating and interment in Oxford Centre cemetery.
