OH) and a 6 month old "unnamed" child (b. OH), living in Kirtland, Ohio. Stephen is listed as a "farmer." Living next door are Susan's parents, John and Eliza Randall. The unnamed child is marked as a male, but as this couple only had five children (one of whom died), I believe this infant is Bertha.

OH), and children Lillian (age 12, b. OH), Bertha (age 10, b. OH) and Nellie (age 2, b. IL), living in Rock Run, Stephenson County, Illinois. Stephen is listed as a "carpenter."

OH), and children Bertha (age 20, b. IL), Nella (age 11, b. IL) and Frederick (age 8, b. IL), living in Davis, Illinois. Stephen is listed as a "house carpenter," and indicates that both his parents were born in New York. Susan indicates that her father was born in New York [erroneous] and her mother in Massachusetts.

NY) "boarder," and Bertha Crary (age 20, Stella's niece by her brother, Stephen Christopher Crary) "at home." Bertha will marry Walter Sked the year after this census. William Sked, Walter Sked, and boarders Samuel and Thomas are all listed as "florists."

Nov 1859, OH), and children William (age 17, b. Dec 1882, OH), Lillian (age 15, b. May 1885, OH), Helen (age 12, b. Jun 1887, OH), Ralph (age 11, b. Dec 1888, IL) and Annie (age 6, b. Apr 1892, IL), living in Kirtland, Ohio. Also in the household is Walter's mother, Stella [Crary] Sked (age 80, b. Nov 1819, OH), widow. Stella indicates that both her parents were born in New Hampshire [this is incorrect, they were born in CT]. Walter is listed as a "farmer," and indicates that his father was born in England and his mother in Ohio. William is listed as a "farm laborer." The remaining children are listed as "at school." The couple indicate that they have been married for 19 years. Bertha indicates that she has had seven children, five still living. Living two houses away is Bertha's cousin, George A. Daniels [son of Marvin Daniels and Bertha's aunt, Marie R. Crary], and his family.

Anna] L. (age 16), living in Kirtland, Ohio. Also in the household is "granddaughter" Lillian B. Wills (age 2, b. OH) and "grandson" Walter S. Wills (age 9 mos, b. OH). On this census, Helen indicates that she has been married for 8 years and has had two living children, so Lillian B. and Walter S. must be her children. The census lists Helen as married (not divorced or widowed), although she is listed as Helen D. Sked (not Wills).
